In 2003, the unfortunate event of my father’s demise led to a family emergency and made me realise something I had never really thought about before. It was that even when a family has built a life together, the things that hold that life together may not be easy to find when they are needed most.
Important documents were scattered. Financial information wasn’t always easy to understand. And there were questions about wishes and decisions that had never been discussed.
At a time when we needed clarity, we found uncertainty instead.
The experience stayed with me. Not just because of what happened, but because I kept thinking about how many families could find themselves in the same situation.
After four decades of building and running businesses, I knew what it meant to create systems that brought structure to complexity. I began wondering, “why shouldn’t families have the same?”
Because we spend a lifetime building so much for the people we love. Our homes, businesses, financial security, memories, knowledge, and the values we carry. But very few of us have a way to bring it all together and ensure that everything is passed down.
That is what inspired The Plan Beyond.
A platform built around a simple belief: what you build deserves to be understood, protected, and carried forward.
Today, our mission is to help families prepare before life demands it and make sure no family is left searching for answers when they need them most.
